Artist's statement:

"I created this drawing as a statement against the wars that took place in Central America during the 1980s; though focused on those conflicts, I also meant the image as a universal condemnation of war.

My artwork was published as a flyer that announced a 1988 march and rally in Los Angeles against the wars in Central America."
