Closing Party - Sunday, February 5th, 2006. 3 to 5 pm.

Avenue 50 Studio invites the public to the closing party for Don't Talk About Religion or Politics. This is the last opportunity to view this well received and thought-provoking exhibit! The artists will be on hand to answer questions concerning their works. Refreshments and
hor d' oeuvres provided.

Curated by Mark Vallen, the exhibit features his works, as well as those of artists: Sergio Hernandez, Gwyneth Leech, Poli Marichal, and John Paul Thornton.

Vallen will be exhibiting at And Now, For Something Newd. In honor of Valentine's Day, artist J. Michael Walker has invited a dozen of his favorite artists to create thoughtful meditations on the human figure. For nearly all the artists involved, this is their very first interpretation of the Nude. Please come join us on February 11th for the great unveiling.

THE NEW NORMALCY
Artists Examine the Post 9-11 World
February 25th through March 26th, 2006.

Vallen will be exhibiting works at, The New Normalcy, a group show at Carlotta's Passion Fine Art in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles. Over 20 artists will present artworks depicting the realities of the post 9-11 world - endless war, militarism, terrorism, state surveillance and repression.
