Climate Change Vandals Attack US Constitution

On Feb. 14, 2024, two men from the “Declare Emergency” climate alarmist group, entered the Rotunda of the National Archives in Washington DC at around 2:30 in the afternoon. They pulled bags of red pigment powder from their pockets, spattering the contents over the protective glass encasement covering the US Constitution.

The fine talcum-like red pigment soiled the encasement and the flooring, as well as the hands, clothes, and faces of the shameless men. Security guards hovered around them but initially did nothing.

Yes, climate change “activists” attacked the US Constitution, one of America’s founding documents. The two anti-American vandals began speechifying to the stunned people in the Rotunda.

Donald Zepeda, told the crowd, “We are determined to foment a rebellion, we will not be held account to laws in which we have no voice or representation.” His comrade Geor Green, said; “We’re calling for all people to have all these rights, not just wealthy white men. We all deserve clean air, water, food, and a livable climate. We don’t want the end of civilization but that’s the path we’re currently on.”

Guards eventually cleared the Rotunda and arrested the two men.

The National Archives Museum issued a press release on the vandalism, it stated that “The Constitution was unaffected in its encasement” and that conservators “were onsite within minutes” conducting “a thorough evaluation of the damage to the Rotunda.” The Rotunda would be closed until Feb. 16, 2024 in order to clean and repair the building. Dr. Colleen Shogan, Archivist of the United States, said the following:

“The National Archives Rotunda is the sanctuary for our nation’s founding documents. They are here for all Americans to view and understand the principles of our nation. We take such vandalism very seriously and we will insist that the perpetrators be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Documentarian Ford Fischer uploaded video on Twitter-X, displaying the two carrying out their crime. It’s a disgraceful spectacle, a grotesquerie carried out by buffoons. How can Americans have such utter disregard and contempt for our constitution?

On Feb. 15, 2024, the day after the attack on the National Archives, Declare Emergency posted a cryptic message on their Twitter account taking credit for the vandalism. The group proclaimed:

“With the slogan ‘Love in Action,’ climate activists blocked a major commuter route for the nation’s capital and vandalized a case protecting the US Constitution in honor of Valentine’s Day.”

The two men that carried out the attack, Donald Zepeda and Geor Green, had participated in earlier Declare Emergency actions.

Donald Zepeda was seen on Feb. 13, 2024, blocking traffic on the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Arlington, Virginia, along with two other Declare Emergency members. They were demanding Joe Biden declare a “climate change emergency.”

Zepeda and Holli Adams were arrested for causing a six mile long traffic backup on the scenic route. They were video-taped being taken into custody by US Park Police—the road is maintained by the National Park Service.

Geor Green (aka Jackson Green) was arrested on Nov. 14, 2023 at the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, after vandalizing the explanatory text hanging next to the statue titled: The Shaw 54th Regiment Memorial. The statue was created in 1900 by artist Augustus Saint-Gaudens. It honored the all-Black Union army regiment that fought Confederate soldiers at the Battle of Fort Wagner during the Civil War.

After Green had smeared “Honor Them” in red paint on the wall text, he ranted to those in the gallery, making clear the only way to honor the brave men of the 54th Regiment, required Joe Biden declaring a “climate change emergency.”

Here is what’s infuriating about the National Gallery of Art being vandalized by Geor Green (Jackson Green). On Feb. 6, a federal prosecutor from the US Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia, indicted Green for vandalizing the historic artwork in the National Gallery of Art. Green was taken into custody following the release of the indictment, and just eight days later—Feb. 14, 2024… Green attacked the US Constitution displayed in the Rotunda of the National Archives in Washington DC!

On April 27, 2023, at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, Declare Emergency members vandalized “Little Dancer Aged Fourteen” by Edgar Degas. Photo: Declare Emergency.

It should be noted that Green’s indictment also referenced the April 27, 2023 Declare Emergency vandalism committed at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. Two group members, a man and a woman, used their hands to paint child-like scribbles in black and red paint, on the glass pedestal that protected the Little Dancer Aged Fourteen statue by French artist Edgar Degas.

Again, the Declare Emergency members carried out that vandalism to force Joe Biden to “declare a climate emergency.” They caused up to $2,400 worth of damage to the pedestal according to the museum. At the time of this writing the case is still be investigated by the FBI’s Art Crime Team and the FBI Washington Field Office, along with the National Gallery of Art Police and the US Park Police. One of the defendants is scheduled to be sentenced on April 3, 2024, the co-conspirator faces trial on Aug. 26, 2024.

I wrote about Green’s 54th Regiment vandalism in the second-half of my 2023 essay Eco-Extremists Attack Xmas Trees. That post focused on eco-extremists in several German cities who destroyed public displays of Christmas trees in order to fight climate change.

On Feb. 14, 2024, Declare Emergency posted on their Twitter account a message of support for Italy’s eco-vandals Ultima Generazione (Last generation). On Feb. 13 the Italian eco-zealots had entered the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy, and vandalized Sandro Botticelli’s masterwork Nascita di Venere (The Birth of Venus). Part of the Uffizi permanent collection, Botticelli’s canvas was painted sometime around the 1480s.

Ultima Generazione blames climate change for the Nov. 2023 floods that swept through the town of Campi Bisenzio in Italy, taking the lives of seven people. The group wants a “Repair Fund” to be initiated by the Italian government that will provide financial aid to people who suffer from “climate disasters.”

The Ultima Generazione dullards couldn’t think of a way to promote their plan. So they settled on the publicity stunt of glueing xeroxed photos of Campi Bisenzio flood damage onto the protective glass covering Botticelli’s canvas. Afterwards they held an orange banner that read “Repair Fund: 20 billion to repair the damage of climate disasters,” gave climate disaster speeches in front of the vandalized masterpiece, and posed for photos.

I’m certain they won over millions of art lovers with their pigheaded prank.

On March 16, 2023, I wrote a prescient essay titled Eco-Vandals Attack German Constitution Monument. The German climate alarmist group Die Letzte Generation (The Last Generation), vandalized the monument to the German constitution outside the Parliament in Berlin. It was forebodingly similar to Declare Emergency attacking the US Constitution at the National Archives in Washington DC. In the article I wrote these prophetic words;

“It is difficult to convey the shock Germans felt regarding the attack on the Grundgesetz 49 monument. An equivalent would be US environmentalists entering the Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom located in the National Archives Building in Washington, DC, and pouring ‘petroleum’ over the display case holding the original copy of the US Constitution.

I realize that these days some Americans would not be upset at such a vile act, but I am not one of them.”

And so it has come to pass.

I’ve been writing about the Eco-Extremist War on Art ever since fanatical environmentalists first began attacking art works and art museums in 2022. Looks like I will continue writing about their dirty war for some time to come. In the meantime, find yourself a copy the US Constitution and study its meaning.
